Antonie Nortje, a sophomore at UCLA representing South Africa, won his section of the men's collegiate/open 400 meters in 46.11 at the 63rd Mt. SAC Relays at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut, Calif. Nortje, who ran the fastest 400 time from all nine collegiate/open sections combined, also took third in his collegiate/open 200-meter section in 21.16, achieving the seventh-fastest time overall from all nine collegiate/open sections combined.
